The Grapevine World backbone comprises the combination of several existing software infrastructures around the world, enabling the standardized global exchange of data to take place, based on IHE methodology.

THE ACCESS

To assure fast and seamless access to all participants of the Grapevine World backbone, Grapevine World provides them with a blueprint. This blueprint depicts the whole of the system architecture.

WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN
THE BACKBONE AND THE MARKETPLACE?

The products offered on the Grapevine World marketplace are used to extend the Grapevine World backbone. These software components (apps, archives, EHR, portals, etc.) have been tested and can be used immediately. System integrators and providers are also represented on the Grapevine World marketplace. These take charge of the expansion and operation of the Grapevine World backbone.
This means that the Grapevine World marketplace provides anyone interested in the backbone with all the elements needed for quick and successful project implementation from a single source.

BACKBONE AVAILABLE?

The Grapevine World backbone is available in selected countries and regions. This means that standardized data exchange is already possible today within these countries as well as, for example, between North America and Europe. The backbone grows continuously as new participants join the Grapevine World backbone.
